Marinated + Grilled Bone-In Pork Chops Recipe

This summer, treat your family and house-guests to a fire-grilled treat! Stop by the Venice Farmers Market every Saturday and pick up 4 (1-inch-thick) bone-in pork chops from our local pork vendor, Reds Farm, and follow the recipe below! You can also find other ingredients from various vendors around the market.

Marinade:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

  2. Place the pork chops in a large resealable bag or container. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, seal the bag or container, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Remove the pork chops from the marinade. Grill the pork chops for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked to 145 degrees.

  3. Let rest 5 minutes, then serve. .

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, grill the pork chops over indirect heat for the first few minutes, then move them over direct heat to finish cooking.

  • Baste the pork chops with the marinade while they are grilling for even more flavor!

  • Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
