Marinated + Grilled Bone-In Pork Chops
This summer, treat your family and house-guests to a fire-grilled treat! Stop by the Venice Farmers Market every Saturday and pick up 4 (1-inch-thick) bone-in pork chops from our local pork vendor, Reds Farm, and follow the recipe below! You can also find other ingredients from various vendors around the market.
Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Place the pork chops in a large resealable bag or container. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, seal the bag or container, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking instructions:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the pork chops from the marinade. Grill the pork chops for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked to 145 degrees.
Let rest 5 minutes, then serve. .
Tips:
For extra flavor, grill the pork chops over indirect heat for the first few minutes, then move them over direct heat to finish cooking.
Baste the pork chops with the marinade while they are grilling for even more flavor!
Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as grilled vegetables, rice, or potatoes.
